...there once was a one-acre lot of land in rural Northern Virginia. A Man saw this land and said that it was good. And he worked this land until it bore him the fruits of his labor. This is the continuing story of that Man and his land and his attempts to create more food each passing season for his family.
While this Man is very capable, he is by no means an expert or recognized authority on the subjects of Gardening and Homesteading. He studies well and practices all the good advice he seeks. He goes to great lengths to keep his garden as natural as possible, with little disturbance to the soil, allowing Nature to continue its plan in harmony with his own. This symbiotic relationship between Man and Nature is as it should be for all. It is good and benefits both equally.
And so, after six seasons of working this Land, the Man decides it is time to share his knowledge and experiences with all those willing to listen. He hopes that you too will see the good in this endeavor.
